After celebrating her special day, Bea Alonzo expressed her utmost gratitude to those who sent their love and best wishes during her 34th birthday on social media yesterday (October 18).

The new Kapuso penned a lengthy message about being thankful for all the blessings she has received this year and shared what her boyfriend, Dominic Roque, had in store for her birthday.

She began her post with the words, “Thank you all for your love and well wishes on my birthday. You never cease to make me feel special on my birthday every year. But for me, this year is different. A lot has happened, and all I have in my heart right now is GRATITUDE.”

“I am thankful for all the lessons and courage that this year has brought me. I am now seeing myself in a different light,” she added.

The award-winning actress then narrated what happened during her actual birthday, which was oh so romantic!

Bea continued, “Here is a picture, on the eve of my birthday, bare, no makeup, with my hair still wet, being surprised with a cake and flowers by a person so special to me. He even managed to surprise me with a puppy and went out of his way to prepare a relaxing weekend getaway for me in Batangas.”

Prior to ending her post, she also thanked the Lord for her beautiful life and wrote, “What more can I ask for? Thank you, Lord, for a life so beautiful; I wouldn't want it in any other way.”

Shortly after the post's upload, Dominic replied with three simple yet romantic words, “I love youuu.”

As of this writing, Bea's post has garnered more than 300,000 likes and thousands of comments on Instagram.

On October 17, Dominic surprised his beautiful girlfriend with an adorable brown-haired puppy, who has yet to be named, as a birthday present.
